My first blog-yay I figured it out!! Ok so this week I learned about apostrophe, comparison, and synthesia. Annotating was introduced this week as well. Before I started taking this class I never realized how intricate a poem really is. Its been a long time since I've had to do any serious reading and studying the way a poem works helps make reading easier. On Wednesday we annotated a poem in class and I was amazed at how many things actually went in to making a poem. Today I was kind of hard pressed to find a perfect poem to annotate, but after reading a few I found one that stuck out. It's a little intimidating to break down the poem but I'll give it a shot.
