A Dumbell
From afar its looks like a bone, yet up close reveals something different. Two 3D hexagonal objects bound together by a cylinder that pierces both at the center. It is a dull silver-gray color that barely reflects light back. At the top of the hexagons, an imprint of a square pushes out two numbers, a 2 and a 0 respectively. It stands a few inches in height but it has greater length in width. The handle is coated with a sand paper texture that gently scrapes the hand to the gentlest touch. It wide enough to grasp and little room is left to move around when held. Soldered marks encircle the bases of the handle to the hexagonal portion. Tiny fragments of white and yellow particles lie in the pores of the object; from accidental hit to the ceiling and drops to the floor.Accompanying these fragments are streaks of black located on the surface of the object; removed only when a wet napkin rubs harshly against it. A closer look at it reveals a single stand of spider web relaxing across the object. Small indents and an outline of a hand being wrapped around the handle are brought up when light cast down upon it.
I found this assignment a bit difficult because of the choice of object I decided to describe. Yet at the same time I felt it was easy because we just have to describe the object and then add the little details that make it unique.
