There is this blanket sitting on my couch. It is navy blue, red, and white. There are shapes on this blanket that look geometric and there are lines. The blanket is thin, but it still looks really comfy and warm. It's just lying there on a really large pillow and it looks inviting. Whenever people come over, they always use this blanket maybe because it is so warm and so inviting. The blanket is not wool, it is more like fleece. It is soft. The white of the blanket against the colors makes the white appear more like cream, but I know the color is white. It is the moon’s color. The red in the blanket is a deep red, not too bright like fire-truck red. It is more like the color red like blood red- a deep, dark almost purplish red. The blue in it looks black. But up close it really is a navy blue. A navy blue that looks dark. The color is the ocean blue at night. The blanket is a square, maybe five feet by five feet in length and width. The geometric shapes on the blanket are similar to Native American motifs. It is a diamond-like shape on its side in red with another smaller navy blue diamond on its side inside of the red one. Then there is a fat cross looking white shape in the middle of the blue diamond. Next to this shape is another shape that is similar to a trapezoid and it is navy blue. Then there are stripes above this pattern.
The experience of describing the blanket was a mixed feeling of being difficult in that it was hard to explain in such detail, but also at the same time, it was easy in that there was so much detail in the blanket; it was fairly easy to have things to describe.
