Week...10?

This week in class we were to present on a literary journal/magazine. I chose the journal Psychic Meatloaf. I thought it was an interesting and catchy title, which was why I was drawn to that journal. In class we also started doing workshop. I enjoyed workshop, however, I find it very intimidating to have people read and critique what I have wrote. I don't feel like my poetry is good to being with, and sharing it with others is kind-of scary for me...

Right now I am working on revisions. I don't like it in the sense that once I feel like I have a decent piece of work, I have to change it again. I don't always think changing it constantly makes for a better piece of work. I do like doing some of the revisions especially the short short ones, but it does get old always changing your old work. I like starting new stuff, instead of changing old things I wrote a few months ago.

I can appreciate the whole workshop artistic process. I do like revision work , just not four revisions on the same piece.
